Teri Simpson

Teri Simpson earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, as well as her Master’s Degree in Social Work at the University of South Florida. Much of her clinical work has focused on working with adolescent girls and their families. For the last 12 years Teri has worked on the administrative and planning side of social service systems in program development, grant writing, evaluation, and consultation. As a social service provider she has maintained various contracts with the State of Florida (DJJ, DCF, FDLE etc.), the Federal Government (Dept. of Health and Human Services, Office of Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention) various community funders, and partner organizations. Originally from the Midwest, Teri has lived in Tampa for 20 years. She enjoys boating, fishing, swimming, snorkeling, biking and spending time with kids (grandchildren and her own Little Sisters in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program)..
